Following the medical response to the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh, ExRMed trained a team of Rohingya volunteers to provide basic first aid and transport to injured people in the refugee camps. The aim was to provide a service to the camps that could continue to operate even after ExRMed had left the region. RVAN members continued to provide point of need care to the Rohingya refugees, allowing casualties to remain in their homes and with their families to receive care where possible.
