ExRMed response to the devastating 2015 Nepal Earthquake
In April 2015, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, causing widespread devastation and killing over 8,000 people. ExRMed deployed a team to Kathmandu Valley to provide medical care to the earthquake victims. Traveling by vehicle and foot in the remote and rugged Kathmandu Valley, ExRMed medics established adhoc clinics at the point of need to prevent people leaving their village to seek medical care.
