2012
- Backpacker Medics is founded and the volunteer deployment to Kerusagawara village commences
2013
- Construction of the Moonlight Community Healthcare Centre in Kerausagawara village commences
2014
- Backpacker Medics continues to deploy medical teams to the Okhaldhunga district of Nepal to provide healthcare and education to the local communities
2015
- The volunteer deployments to the Moonlight Community Healthcare Centre in Kerausagawara village continue
- Backpacker Medics responds to the Nepal earthquake
- Backpacker Medics forms the Disaster Response Group
2016
- The Kerusagawara Rescue team is established and the first training course is conducted
- Backpacker Medics is incorporated, and it’s official name is changed to Backpacker Medics Inc.
- Backpacker Medics Inc. is officially registered as a charity with the ACNC
- Backpacker Medics Inc. is registered as a deductible gift recipient with the ATO
2017
- The Disaster Response Group responds to the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh
- Backpacker Medics Inc. establishes the Rohingya Volunteer Ambulance Network (RVAN) program in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
2018
- The Disaster Response Group responds to the Central Sulawesi region of Indonesia in response to the 2018 earthquake and tsunami
- The Disaster Response Group conducts a three-day training course in Perth, Western Australia
2019
- The Disaster Response Group conducts a three-day training course in Boonah, Queensland
2020
- The COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions impact Backpacker Medics’ operations
2021
- The COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions impact Backpacker Medics’ operations

- Backpacker Medics deploy a medical team to the Engineering Island Group in Papua New Guinea’s Milne Bay Province to provide healthcare and education to the local communities
